Further exploration on the feminine and masculine categories, how they connect only arbitraly with gender and intrinsically with power, and the current state of affairs of our hyper-masculine society.
The categories of feminine and masculine are defined only in relation to one another, but not in any symmetrical or diametrically opposed manner. Masculine domination is all about valuing one side of the equation over the other. But what are we neglecting when we reproduce this misguided valuation?
Some reflections on my week in an ecological center where people were really into esoteric/spiritualist practices. They seemed convinced to be living outside "the system", but was their communal effort really an revolutionary alternative to more mainstream neoliberal lifestyles?
